The historical settlement of
Jugha, Nakhichevan, was home to over 12,000 khachkars
most of which have been destroyed (only some 2,000 of them have escaped vandalism).
Note: In 1998 Jugha retained 2,000 khachkars
all of which were levelled with the ground in 2002.
