In 2011 a group of RAA members went on an almost one-month research trip to Western Armenia, where they carried out studies in the districts of Kars, Bash-Shoragyal, Kaghzvan, Surmalu, Van, Gyavash, Khizan, Karjkan, Baghesh, Khlat and Artzke.
